Mister KIMEP, My experience..

If you are a student of KIMEP, you must know that there was a competitions between boys by the name of Mister Kimep. It was November 28, this show was the first concert of Mister Kimep in the history of Kimep life. Although there were a little money gave by Kimep administration to held this party, the concert was very bright and unforgetable. All boys tried to make their best and show everything that they can do, one of the boys sing song for his girlfriend, another dance, next wrote a poem and so on. There was a very good decision to give awards for everybody, each boy has taken his award. What is according awards, they were really nice, fror instance Mister Kimep can buy clothes on the summ 5000$ in particular shop. Second Vice Mister Kimep receive trip to Turkey on 10 days.

Also during the concert there were some artists and just students who can show there talant. I was in that number of student. I and my five friedns decided to take part in this concert. We were singing the song called ‘Sway”, three of us were singing and another three were dancing. It was unforgetable, i have a lot of differnt feelings during the concert, at frst it was some kind of scarity and then i just relax and enjoe our singing and dancing. I want to say thank for all students who made this show.

According to We Media I tried to take such a website, which could be relevant to participatory website. So, I have chosen www.jazz.kz , because this site was created by group of people which disscuss and give all necessary informatin about jazz.

As was written in We Media online discussion groups are the oldest and still the most popular forms for participation, I absolutelly agree with this statement and I want to add that it is the most effective method to make website alive, readable and interesting for people. The website has its own forum, where people can leave their opinion on particular thing, but if you are not registered it is impossible to write a comment. I think it is good because sometimes forums are too open and large forums can get noisy, with so many posts from so many members, so it is like a private life of those people who realy like jazz music.

Also this website has its own moderators and administrators which controls what is written in the comments and delete comments which have violations and also they answer the questions which asked by people. It is very convinient for people to contact the organizators of this website, there is a page called Contacts. There are a lot of articles about famouse people in the jazz aria, with photos of this peoples and sometimes with interview of these people, so it is very interesting to read these articles. You can find information about converts, festivals which will be held in future.

So, finally, I suppose that this website is good example of participartory website, here is the conversation between common people and famous musicians, here people can talk on the theme which they like and find people close to their interests.

In my point of view communities is one of the genious things the mankind had ever done. Through communities people can exchange information, find friends , find somebody who thinks like he thinks, through community you can never be lonely. Also every community have its own laws, goals, ways of behaving or may be even constitution, I can say that community is like small world in a big world. Nowadays there are a lot of different communities in the internet for instance such communities as: moi mir, face book, vkontakte, fans and so on. In real life communities like: Nyr Otan, Bolashak, Youth organizations and so on.

KIMEP has a big number of communities, so that every active student can participate in any organization she or he wants. I, for example is a member of community called “CREATEAM”. The name of this community speaks for itself, this is a team of creative people. Our organization makes different parties to the students of KIMEP, last party was Commencement.We make decorations and show programm and so on. Here I find people similar to me, to my character. Now we are like one big family.

What is according to on-line communities…as an example I will take Vkontakte.ru, this is a site where you can find people with whom you lost connection, you can find friends, relatieves, gain new friends from different countries and so on. Of cause there are set of rulles which everybody must follow.

In conclusion, I want to say that life with communities is much more interesting and amazing,than if there will be no communities.

What is journalism???

Journalism is the profession where you must write about trully facts give people new information. Journalism is very important in owr life because journalists create our attitude to some events news or something like that,they inform us. The writer or journalist is expected to use only facts to describe events, ideas, or issues that are relevant to the public. Journalists gather information, and broadcast it so we remain informed about local, state, national, and international events. They can also present trully situation in government, between officials or authority. You know, journalism is like some kind of connection between common people and government. Almost every time we rely on journalism, but sometimes the information which is given is not right,or the information is given in such a way where you can’t objectivelly know who is right and who is wrong, for instance the situation between Georgia and Russia, in one hand Russians journalists said that their are wright, but in other hand Georgian’s journalists said that Russia is bad not right,sometimes it is not objective. So everytime when you watch TV or read newspaper you must think is that real situation or not, can it be or not, what journalist’s point of view,how journalist gives information to you.

Reaching back to grab the grooves of ’70s disco/funk and the gadgets of electronic composition, Electronica soon became a whole new entity in and of itself, spinning off new sounds and subgenres with no end in sight two decades down the pike. Its beginnings came in the post-disco environment of Chicago/New York and Detroit, the cities who spawned house and techno (respectively) during the 1980s. Later that decade, club-goers in Britain latched onto the fusion of mechanical and sensual, and returned the favor to hungry Americans with new styles like jungle/drum’n'bass and trip-hop. Though most all early electronica was danceable, by the beginning of the ’90s, producers were also making music for the headphones and chill-out areas as well, resulting in dozens of stylistic fusions like ambient-house, experimental techno, tech-house, electro-techno, etc. Typical for the many styles gathered under the umbrella was a focus on danceable grooves, very loose song structure (if any), and, in many producers, a relentless desire to find a new sound no matter how tepid the results.

Country music is about tradition, yet its simple form lends itself to endless variations on similar themes. Like blues — the two genres often shared themes, melodies and songs — country is a simple music at its core. Most of its songs are built around three chords and a plain melody, but these forms are so basic, they allow for many different styles, from the gritty sounds of honky tonk to the jazzy improvisations of Western Swing. Country music grew out of American Southern folk music, both Appalachian and blues, and old-time country was simple and folky, with just guitars and fiddles. As the genre progressed, old time music evolved into the rhythmic guitar-and-fiddle driven traditional country that became the foundation of modern country music, from honky tonk and Western Swing to the pop-oriented Countrypolitan and rock-inflected Bakersfield Sound.

Blues

Blues is about tradition and personal expression. At its core, the blues has remained the same since its inception. Most blues feature simple, usually three-chord, progressions and have simple structures that are open to endless improvisations, both lyrical and musical. The blues grew out of African spirituals and worksongs. In the late 1800s, southern African-Americans passed the songs down orally, and they collided with American folk and country from the Appalachians. New hybrids appeared by each region, but all of the recorded blues from the early 1900s are distinguished by simple, rural acoustic guitars and pianos. After World War II, the blues began to fragment, with some musicians holding on to acoustic traditions and others taking it to jazzier territory. However, most bluesmen followed Muddy Waters‘ lead and played the blues on electric instruments. From that point on, the blues continued to develop in new directions — particularly on electric instruments — or it has been preserved as an acoustic tradition.

Rap

Rap’s germination is sometimes attributed to the righteous street poetry of the Last Poets and the Watts Prophets, but it didn’t begin to take full shape — and earn its tag — until after the Sugarhill Gang released “Rapper’s Delight” in 1979. Since then, rap spread from its New York epicenter throughout the remainder of the U.S. (with each region taking on its own specific flavor) and then to countless countries. Rap’s core components are beats and rhymes, but that simplicity belies the wide range of sounds that have sprung from them. Instrumentalists, a sampled breakbeat, or a drum machine can form the backbone of a track, while an arrangement can be spaciously spare or chaotically dense, and a chorus can range from atonal shouting to a sweet melody. Detractors were still calling rap a fad in 1985, when LL Cool J released his first single. They were doing the same thing when, roughly 20 years later, the same MC released his tenth album, and they’ll probably continue to do so as long as the genre exists. Should rap ever die, which isn’t likely, it would be far too late to prevent its effect on most other music forms, from R&B to rock to jazz.
